Patriam: The Saga of Roljar is a third-person action RPG set during the First Norkinian Civil War, better known as the Grey Rebellion. You play Roljar of Sarin, the surviving son of House Sarin, forged in the massacre at Hasteinsvoll. With his father slain and his family butchered, he hunts the lord responsible, Kyrien Druokon, and the scattered remnants of his failed grasp for power across a civil war that spans the world.

The hunt takes Roljar from the Norkinian wilderness to the rainforests of Watol and beyond, across five lands, while Crown Prince Bjarn and the loyalists fight to hold the throne. The Saga of Roljar is the first chapter of a multi-part epic set in The World of Patriam.
